This policy covers ikarmic.com: what we collect when you visit the site or send us a message, and what we do with it. Work we do for clients is covered by the contract for that project, not by this page.

In short: we don't run analytics or advertising trackers, we don't set cookies, and the only personal data we ask for is what you type into the contact form.

What we collect

When you send us a message

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. Company, phone number and the topic you're interested in are optional. We use these details to reply to you and to talk about the work you asked about. We don't add you to a mailing list or sell your details.

When you browse the site

Like any website, the servers that deliver our pages see technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Our hosting provider uses these to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use them to build a profile of you.

If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. It stays on your device and isn't sent to us.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of service providers to run the site:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the contact form. If spam protection is switched on, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form was sent by a person.
• Resend delivers contact form messages to our inbox by email.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces the site uses, so Google receives your IP address when the fonts load.

These providers may process data outside India. Each handles it under its own privacy terms, and only to provide its service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your messages for as long as we need them to reply, follow up on the work you asked about, and keep the business records the law requires. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other privacy laws that may apply to you, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also withdraw your consent for us to keep using it. Email hello@ikarmic.com and we'll reply.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
